BLACK POWDER SHOOTS for 2004

February 7th,  March 6th,  April 3rd,  May 1st,  and June 5th

Saturdays, starting at 11 a.m. (Eastern Time)


Event will be held regardless of rain, shine, or 10 feet of snow. This is the UP!!!

All types of muzzleloaders are welcome: traditional side hammer, inline, caplock, flintlock, open sights, scopes, or peep sights.

New shooters as well as "old timers" are welcome to join in the fun. Youth accompanied by adults are also welcome.

Friendly competition is available in men's, women's, and youth (not yet 16 years old) categories in either traditional or open divisions, depending on attendance. All targets will break, move or make a sound.

The traditional division consists of side hammer rifle, open or iron sights and patched round ball only. The open division consists of inline rifle, scope, or peep sights and loaded from the muzzle.

Ribbons will be awarded in each division and door prize drawing chances to all shooters.

Assistance is readily available to new shooters who are just learning the art of muzzleloader shooting. Spectators welcome.

Cost: $ 3.00 to shoot and $ 3.00 for a tasty hot lunch.
